A female ruler was nothing of the sort. It was deemed impossible that woman like herself could run a monarchy without the support of a king. But Mrs. Elizabeth proved them wrong. Originally, the throne was never meant to go to her. She was actually the LAST in line. It was her mother, then her sister, then her. But, her mother died and so did her sister, so Elizabeth was the last destination. Elizabeth put her best foot forward and took charge of the throne in the year 1533, and became the first queen of England. She worked together with other countries, such as France, and wrote documents to the grand duke. In the end, England really looked up to her, and she made a legacy due to her ruling and how she was the first woman to run a monarchy correctly.
